JananathanÂs jolly face

Even those in the film industry are not aware that S P Jananathan, the man behind Âserious movies like ÂIyarkaiÂ, ÂEe and ÂPeranmaiÂ, is a man with a very good humour sense.
And those who had the taste of his jovial side are Sasikumar, Mysskin and Samuthirakani, who accompanied the filmmaker to Norway to take part in an international film festival.
Says Sasikumar, ÂWe initially maintained a distance with Jananathan sir since he is senior to us. We also thought that he was a serious man. But we understood later that he is a man with an excellent sense of humour.Â
ÂWe had a whale of time in NorwayÂ, the director-actor-producer says and adds: Âthe jokes he used to crack were extremely hilarious and the trip was no doubt a memorable experience for all of usÂ.
